September 30 - Merrick School of Business Research Dialogues "Aloof Partners: How Six Outsiders Created the World's Greatest Fortune.” This talk is eligible for CPE credits and will be presented by Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship, David Lingelbach.

October 1 - Merrick Engages – A Conversation with Jay Ripley, B.S. ’79 on Entrepreneurship. Ripley is the Co-Founder and Chairman of The Burger Joint and Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of Sequel Youth and Family Services.

October 20 – Attman Competitive Business Prize Competition -  alumni and current UB students' deadline to submit a business idea for the competition.

October 28 - Merrick School of Business Research Dialogues "Engagement and Group Processes” This talk is eligible for CPE credits and will be presented by Associate Professor of Management, Lisa Stickney.

November 12 - Merrick Engages – A Conversation with Rebecca Ranich on the “Business of Energy.” Ranich is energy industry executive with deep roots in capital intense energy supply and demand infrastructure and energy technologies. Over her career, she has led transformational business initiatives, forged global strategic alliances, and led new market ventures in energy and infrastructure sectors.

November 17 – Live Finale: Phyllis and Leonard Attman Competitive Business Prize Competition. The Finalists for the competition will compete for cash and in-kind professional services.

November 18 - Merrick School of Business Research Dialogues "How Entrepreneurs Strategize.” This talk is eligible for CPE credits and will be presented by Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship, Tiago Ratinho. (This event is part of our Global Entrepreneurship Week celebration)
